IS IT EASY TO WASH?
Yes, simply machine wash with cold water on gentle cycle, hang dry.

ARE YOGA RUGS SLIPPERY?
Not ours! Other yoga rugs can be slippery compared to a sticky mat but ours is the only with grip ribs that help stabilize you. Yoga rugs also get more grippy with sweat unlike plastic mats that slip when wet.

HOW IS IT MADE?
Our handloomed cotton mats are plant dyed using an ancient method of Ayurvedic herbal dying. It takes a full 15 days to make each one.
- GOTS certified organic cotton is cleaned, naturally lightened and hand-spun into yarn.
- The yarn is then naturally dyed with 20 different medicinal grade herbs using an ancient Ayurvedic method that preserves the potency of the plants.
- The dyed yarn is then handloomed by skilled Indian artisans.
- Natural tree rubber (latex) is then painted onto the bottom for grip.
- Lastly, as a part of their tradition mantras are played around the mats to purify their energy.
- There are zero chemicals and no electricity is needed to make these mats.
- Fair wages and safe working conditions are ensured to our artisan partners. Most workers are women and are able to work from home together with their families.
